Company secretarial

Essential registrations, reporting and recording

The Companies Act puts the responsibility on company directors to submit various documents to various bodies with various deadlines.

Companies House expects you to provide up-to-date information for registers of directors, directors’ interests, secretaries, allotments, transfers, members, mortgages and charges. It also wants to know about changes of officers, of registered office, share capital, allotment of shares and accounting reference dates.

For a lot of people who just want to focus on running their business it’s a bit of a bureaucratic nightmare. That’s especially true when you consider the penalties for getting any of it wrong.

The DB Accounting company secretarial service is designed to take the sting out of all of that. Because we know the rules inside and out, it’s no trouble for us to take care of all of this for you – from annual accounts to documentation of annual general meetings (AGMs). In effect, we’ll act as your company secretary, if that’s what you need, and can even provide you with a registered business address.

  • Filing annual accounts.
  • Updating statutory registers.
  • Companies House forms and filing.
  • AGM and board minutes and records.
  • Registered company address, if needed.
